VOW RENEWAL

Aloha, Aloha, ka kou and Greetings...

The home is to provide the sweetest, most precious and enduring relationship on earth. Marriage is a lifelong commitment it is not entered into thoughtlessly or lightly. (Groom) and (Bride) you have realized this and you have become one, in your love. Today we have gather here to Celebrate your Relationship and Commitment of ______ years of marriage, and today you will continued to create a bond of everlasting love and devotion.

(God/Life) has blessed this union and this blessing has been received, with love, faith and hope. Compassion and peace has been one of your prime responsibilities.

When you married #_____ years ago you had no idea what (God/Life) had in store for you, Your togetherness as husband and wife, at times may have been under difficult circumstances, doing with out some of the necessities of life, and even may have depended on love offerings of others for your survival. When you took your wedding vows that day you promised to love each other whether rich or poorer, and in sickness and health, you kept that vow as you stand here today remaining true to each other through even those difficult times.

Some of your circumstances required great faith, and your faith never wavered, deep in your hearts. I know it is hard to count any of your hardships as sheer joys,
However, because of the blessings you have received, you have been given, #____ children who love and respect you, and #_____ adoring grandchildren, who are the fruit of you love.

Your marriage is the most important commitment in your lives, and you are the most important persons to each other. As your love grows deeper each year and more comfortable, so to dose your relationship it has gone beyond any thing you could have imagined and as you stand here, before this gathering of friends and family you will compassionately and joyfully reaffirm your love, your commitment and your spiritual bond of marriage.

(Optional prayer) Let us pray, Lord God , our heavenly father, we give thanks for the moment that brings _______ and _______ together in marriage. We recognize with thanks the journeys that have brought them to this time, and we celebrate with them the hopes they hold for their lives together. We ask your blessing upon them. We pray that they may continue to find in each other, resources which will nurture their marriage. May they continue to grow together and may their love for one another deepen with the passing years and we give thanks for the nurture and support of family and friends We also pray for...

Let us, Who share this circle of celebration today be renewed in our commitments to one another and may we be participants in a healed and healing society. All this we ask in the spirit we have seen in Jesus Christ our Lord Amen.

TI MAILE LEI'S

The ti Maile lei  is made with many ti leaves stitched together to make a vine like looking lei. It is now more popular since the original MAILE leis that is from the Maile vine is getting much harder to find and the forests need time to recover. So the Maile ti lei is a lei signifying a royal event a person of royalty and on your wedding day a Maile ti is always a nice touch.

Ti Leafs Grow threw out the Islands and are used for my things such as lei's,  rope's, net's, and even cooking and medical uses. Contact your coordinator and get your lei's ordered.
